Friendship Overcomes Language Barriers

Friendship Overcomes Language Barriers

Foundation Stage students welcomed their friends from Home of Praise.

Proving that language is no barrier for children, the children from Foundation Stage were excited to welcome their friends from Home of Praise to visit for the first time this academic year. The young children travelled from Khlong Toey by bus to our beautiful Foundation Stage garden for a morning of play, exploration and smiles.  This is a wonderful opportunity for Foundation Stage children at Bangkok Patana to learn about sharing with others.  For the children from Khlong Toey, the opportunity to run, climb, ride and play in a large open space is vital for their physical development and something that they don’t often get chance to do.

At the moment, Home of Praise is redeveloping its site to try to include more physical development opportunities for their young learners but with limited space and resources it’s a tricky challenge.  All of Foundation Stage’s fundraising efforts this year will go to supporting their endeavours.  If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause please contact Robine Johnson rola@patana.ac.th.
