Plugged into Great Music!

Patana Plugged gave our Secondary musicians a chance to shine in performance recently. There were 15 top-class performances from soloists/groups who performed a wide range of music. Dev Bhatnagar did a wonderful rendition of the ballad “You are the Reason” by Callum Scott and Emily Skevington offered up a beautiful performance of “Always Remember Us this Way”  by Lady Gaga from the recent film “A Star is Born”. There were some lively performances by bands Soi Lasalle 39 and State of Mind who performed “Just my Type” and “Sudan”. The Chamber Choir sang a set in the middle of the show and sounded great in their renditions of “Can’t Sleep Love”, “Top of the World” and “Here Comes the Sun”. The show ended with the Budget Mayers performing “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” by John Mayer. Many thanks to the Student Arts Council for their help and organisation of this event.
