Heroes Day!
Who is your hero?
As the culminating day of Matt Dickinson’s visit and the Everest 70 Anniversary, students (and staff!) dressed up as their favourite heroes to celebrate resilience and bravery of all forms. While there were plenty of superheroes, many students also dressed up as medical professionals, emergency service technicians, teachers, parents, sports icons and literary characters. Heroes not only save the world, but also serve to inspire as positive role models. Demonstrating values such as responsibility, confidence, integrity and empathy help to guide students on how to mirror these characteristics in their own lives. Here’s to our heroes!
