Year 6 Experiences Secondary Lounge

Year 6 students were welcomed to the Secondary Lounge at break time and lunch time to help aid their upcoming transition to Secondary School. With just weeks to go until they enter Year 7, students were given a chance to try their hand at the Secondary ping pong tables, and most importantly, to buy ice cream from the snack bar! This also provides the young students with an “entry point” into the social scene of the Secondary Lounge, helping them to not feel intimidated on their first day of Year 7. With a full programme underway, the Secondary School aims to make the Year 6-to-Year 7 transition a positive, safe and comfortable experience for all.
