Key Stage 2 Sports Days!

Friendly competition and fun at Keys Stage 2 Sports Days!

It was fantastic to welcome back our Key Stage 2 Sports Days with many parents also flooding back into School to add their support. Students from Years 3 to 6 enjoyed an age-appropriate circuit of 10 activities ranging from the hurdles, long jump, agility run, adventure run, javelin and the target throw or basketball shooting and many more with two welcome rest stations as well. For the second part of their morning,  students hit the track for a more traditional Primary Sports Day with individual races in the 60m sprint, graduated middle distance run of 400m, 600m or 800m depending on the Year group and the ever popular sack races. Relay races then began with old favourites such as the obstacle relay, football kit, shuttle and 3-legged to name a few. For Years 3, 4 and 6 we also had the opportunity for the teachers and parents to get involved with some fun sack races where some pretty impressive sack racers were seen in action! The weather was very different for all three days, but we hope that everyone still had a positive sports day adventure whatever the weather. I know that iced lollies were a very popular part of the days! A huge thank you to everyone who played their part in making our Sports Days such a memorable part of the year.
