Little Explorers in Year 1

Amazing Thailand learning continues…

Year 1 students ventured to the Erawan Museum, a local landmark, as part of their “Amazing Thailand” unit of learning. After a very exciting bus trip there, the children arrived eager to explore the museum. The classes split into two groups: alternating exploring the outside area around the museum, as well as the interior. They took part in a scavenger hunt of the museum’s exterior, looking for interesting sculptures and taking in the sights. The children also managed an almighty climb all the way to the top of the elephant structure, where they had a fantastic view of the area!

This hands-on approach to learning was a fun and engaging way to teach the children a little more about a local landmark, furthering their understanding of the culture and history of Thailand. A huge thank you to Miss Vicky who organised the whole trip, and to our wonderful parent helpers, without whom it would not have been possible.
