Online Communication Focus in ICT
Key Stage 1 ICT students are learning creative ways to take and use screenshots to collaborate and share their learning online.
In ICT live lessons, online communication has been a focus for the start of the new school year with Key Stage 1 students learning how to use screenshots to share their learning. As the proverb goes “A picture is worth 1000 words” so it seemed a good idea to start with digital images. They are learning how to use screenshots to share in Seesaw, Google Classroom and Teams. Screenshots allow the students to collaborate with their peers, celebrate successes and seek support from others.
Many students have been practising this and are already using it in innovative ways, framing and annotating parts of their screen to support clear communication.
