Key Stage 3 Spanish students understand the importance of communication both verbal and non-verbal.
Some Key Stage 3 students have been reconnecting and getting to know one another …in Spanish!
Working on MS Teams gives students the opportunity to use their Spanish language skills with others in real time. Having their cameras on is really important as communication is not just verbal but is much better when reading each other’s facial expressions. Year 7 students have been reviewing phonics and miming words that can help remember sounds (mnemonics) as well as learning Spanish commands in the classroom. Collaboration and feedback is key when learning another language, something our Modern Foreign Language students already know!
