Ozone in the Canteen??

In our ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on our environment, we have recently introduced the use of ozone water at the Secondary Canteen.

Now, what does that mean for our school and the planet?

Ozone water is a safe, effective, and eco-friendly solution, ensuring a healthier environment for our school community. It uses the oxidative strength of ozone to eliminate contaminants such as bacteria and viruses. The system we are using has been well tested for safety.

2. Water Conservation and Efficiency:  Our commitment to sustainability extends to responsible water usage. Ozone water not only provides superior cleaning but also reduces our overall water consumption.

3. Eco-Friendly and Pollution Prevention: Ozone water is an environmental friendly alternative that safeguards our users and prevents soil, water, and air pollution. After use, ozone water naturally reverts to oxygen and water, leaving no harmful residues behind and causing no harm to our precious environment.

4. Cost Savings and Reduced Waste: Beyond the environmental benefits, our switch to ozone water translates to cost savings. We reduce expenses related to water usage and detergents. Moreover, there’s no need for the large plastic detergent containers, further reducing our environmental impact and plastic waste.
