Patana Pathways – Johnny
A dream come true..
How would you feel if you received an Early Decision from the only university you’ve ever wanted to attend to? Top of the world? Over the moon? On cloud nine? Johnny went through a whirlwind of emotions when he got his early decision offer from Northwestern University to pursue Industrial Engineering, so much so, without blinking he accepted. He had also received an Early Action offer from Case Western Reserve University and withdrew all his applications in honour of his Early Decision agreement with Northwestern.
Industrial Engineering was not Johnny’s first choice, however it was an easy decision thanks to his love for Physics and Maths, combined with some valuable advice from his sister Tarin, Bangkok Patana Grad’ 17 who advised him on the possible job opportunities- talk about a great role model right there!
Johnny’s Patana Pathway started when he joined Foundation Stage 2. He said he has a tinge of sadness as he thinks about how his journey is coming to an end. Since childhood, Johnny’s passion lay in history and in his free time he analyses historical data and tries to create alternate history. Johnny served as the president of SEC and was part of Model United Nations during his time at school. All the best Johnny and we can’t wait to see you at an alumni reunion!
