PE Teachers Get Drilled on Their Football Skills
Secondary PE runs drills with the Football Academy
Secondary PE teachers are ready to begin their PE units on football starting this coming Monday after running drills. Mark Potter, Head Football Coach and the Football Academy team gave them pointers on possession, ball mastery and included some fun challenges to engage the students. Their goal? Aligning the PE curriculum football lessons with the Football Academy sessions at Under 13 and Under 15 levels. Additionally, they covered technical knowledge, terminology, differentiation emphasised the goals of each football unit. Everyone got fully involved in each of the six drills shared by Coach Mark. It was a good opportunity for everyone to blow away a few summer holiday cobwebs!
