PTG Welcome New Families

PTG Welcome New Families

The PTG welcomed new parents to the school in the Newcomers Coffe morning.

Although the PTG could not hold their traditional welcome morning for newcomers, everyone joined online for a virtual meeting.

PTG Chair Phil Ngan and Newcomers Rep Chris Chan Ebrahim hosted the event, introducing parents to the PTG reps and volunteers and giving them an insight into PTG activities.

Parents also had a chance to meet the Senior Leadership Team, with Mr Mills introducing the new principals; Primary Principal Sarah McCormack, Secondary Principal Matt Seddons, and Secondary Assistant Principal Luke Jones.

During the meeting, break out rooms gave parents an opportunity to get to know one another and ask questions. Some key questions included getting students back to school. However, as Mr Mills pointed out, all that depends on government approval. He reassured parents that the school was working hard to fulfill all requirements but won’t have any details until a decision is made. Our parents are as keen to have kids in school as we are!

A big thank you to the PTG for hosting this event and despite some technical difficulties, it was good to see have such a large turnout. Do email ptg@patana.ac.th if you want to volunteer on the PTG or have any questions. The next event for the PTG is the annual AGM which will be held on 14th September. More details will be shared in Patana News.
