Senior Leadership Update 14th October 2021

Latest update from Senior leadership

Dear Parents,

As we head into mid-term break, we thought it was important to touch base. We have been delighted
with our CSL provision and have appreciated your ongoing feedback on the programme. We’re
delighted that our new initiatives this term, such as instrumental music lessons and lending Library
books, have been well received.

Obviously, our intention is to have the students back on campus in a safe, staggered and controlled
manner as soon as we possibly can. We have all been incredibly frustrated and we want to thank you
for your sustained patience. It was wonderful to have some students on campus last week to
complete exam requirements. This also allowed us to test the systems we have in place for the
campus reopening.

Although we do not yet have permission to reopen the campus, we thought it would be prudent at
this time to share with you our campus reopening plan for when we do get permission. These plans
are subject to change and we will verify the full procedures before we open.

When we are able to open, we will invite all children in the Year group to attend campus every day.
The Year groups will return gradually as per the table below, which will allow us to follow our safe,
staggered and controlled principles. We will continue to provide CSL at this stage for anyone who is
unable to, or who does not want to return to campus.

Both the Primary and Secondary Principals intend sending out more specific details on our campus
reopening plans tomorrow.

Health and Travel Declaration

We still have about 550 students who have not completed the Health and Travel Declaration form.
This is a mandatory prerequisite for school campus re-entry. Please complete this form now, if you
have not already done so, or update it if your vaccination or health status has changed since you last
completed it.

ECA Sign-up is OPEN NOW

We are planning ahead in the hope school will re-open in time for Block 2 which commences in mid-November. There are lots of new options available including Dot Painting, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Latin Dance, Google Guru, Bee Hotel, Bollywood Dance, Flippa Ball, E Sports and more! Login to the Parents Gateway and make the choices for your children. Please note if school does not re-open you will NOT be charged so there is no risk involved in signing up.

Wishing all of our families a safe and restful mid-term break. If we do hear any positive news over the break, we will be in touch.

Best wishes,
Senior Leadership Team
