Swim Australia at Bangkok Patana
Our swim coaches and teachers had some excellent guidance during SwimCon by Olympic swimmers
Bangkok Patana were proud to host the SwimCon International in partnership with Swim Australia earlier this month.
We welcomed five keynote speakers from Australia:
Brendan Ward – CEO Swim Australia
Janelle Pallister – Olympic Coach currently based at the Gold Coast High Performance Hub alongside Michael Bohl
Gary Toner – Executive Officer Swim Australia
Joanne Effendi – Events Coordinator Swim Australia
Rhiannon Kocmar – Education Manager Swim Australia.
We also welcomed over 50 Swimming teachers and coaches from around the region for three action packed days of professional learning. Opening with a meet and greet off campus, the conference included classroom sessions, dry-land gym sessions, cooking lessons and of course plenty of pool sessions for both the coaches and some of our TigerSharks and TigerPrawns. What a treat to be guided by an Olympic coach!
