Taking Flight in Nursery

Children in Nursery are becoming effective learners with active play and exploring. .

Nursery children are developing all the characteristics of an effective learner with ‘Active Learning’, ‘Playing and Exploring’ and ‘Creating and Thinking Critically’ through their love of familiar stories. The book The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a favourite in Nursery. They learned about butterflies and how they turn from caterpillar to butterfly. The children were fortunate to observe a pupa grow and transform, and then they released the butterfly into the garden.

The children have also been sharing their love of all things transport-related and doing an ample amount of role-playing, which they really enjoy. We are so happy to see the children enjoying their active days in our wonderful Nursery area!
