Senior Leadership Update – 25th November 2021
Canteens resume regular service, high double vaccination rate amongst our secondary students…..
Dear Parents,
We are into our second week since we welcomed all our students back to campus; the sounds and presence of them on campus keep us all in very good spirits!
We’ve got two key updates to tell you about. Firstly, we have just received approval to reopen our regular canteen services. From Monday 29th November, hot buffet lunches will be served in our Primary and Secondary canteens, and the beloved Secondary Noodle Bar will reopen. Secondary parents who wish to enrol their child onto the set lunch programme can email rabr@patana.ac.th. Note that any selections made for boxed lunches for next week have been automatically cancelled, as all these children will have access to the choices on the buffet lunch menu.
Secondly, a big thank you to those Secondary parents who took the time to fill out the survey on their child(ren)’s vaccination status. We received 608 responses for students in Years 8-13 and 91% confirmed they have been double vaccinated. This high rate of vaccination will reduce the number of possible COVID cases amongst our student population. Thank you!
We are delighted to welcome back students and staff, and the high-risk contacts who have been at home as a result of the COVID pandemic. Thank you for your cooperation in following the protocols that keep our community safe. If you have not already done so, please carefully read this document that details our COVID protocols. A reminder to test this weekend and submit your child’s ATK results before Sunday 28th November at 5.00 pm.
This was our first week returning to regular in-person ECAs and the students seemed thrilled to be engaging in person with their peers once again.
We hope you have a relaxing and safe weekend.
Best regards, The Senior Leadership Team
