The Enchanted Forest Comes to Life in Year 1
The Goblin King was an exciting visitor for Year 1 children.
Year 1 students were excited to meet one of the new characters from The Enchanted Forest; the Goblin King! Before he visited, they wrote letters to him asking him such questions as “Why are you so angry?” and “Where do you live” as they practiced making who, what, when, where, why and how questions.
Then, they were excited to have the Goblin King come in person! He stomped around and answered all their questions. His minions even came to show their loyalty. One child offered him a cookie as a tribute but as he ate it, he collapsed and the minions rushed him out, much to everyone’s excitement!
The children in Year 1 are looking forward to reading more about the Goblin King and seeing how it all ends in Imelda and the Goblin King.
