University Fairs – Finding the Right Fit
Global universities advise students on their own Patana Pathways…
Over 180 universities from more than 20 countries were represented on campus yesterday for our first in-person Greater Bangkok University Fair since 2019! Along with Bangkok Patana students, students from 12 other international schools in Bangkok also attended, bringing the total number of participants to nearly 1,000.
The Greater Bangkok University Fair facilitates exciting conversations between students and university representatives, giving students the opportunity to learn firsthand about student life, majors, courses and application procedures. In many cases, the university representatives attending the Fair will also be the one reviewing student applications! The Fair challenged students to explore universities they may have never heard of and in places they may not have considered before. This gives them a chance to explore the university ‘landscape’, helping students to determine the best fit for their life after Bangkok Patana School.
University representatives repeatedly congratulated our students for their thoughtful questions, open minds and clear direction for their futures. The Careers and University Faculty will continue to welcome university representatives from around the world and will also have more virtual and in-person fairs throughout the remainder of the academic year.
