Villain or Hero? Year 8 Students Learn About Melodrama
Year 8 students play the hero, the villain and the sidekick.
Students in Year 8 have started learning about the classic theatre tradition; melodrama. They explored the characteristics of the stock characters: Hero, villain and side kick. They learned more about the aspect of the universal gesture and looked at ways in which their stock characters would use them in their performances.
