Welcome to Year 4! Bienvenue! Huan Ying!

Year 4 are using their language skills to say Welcome in different languages. As part of their learning on International Day, they welcomed each other in their mother tongues. They also learned how to say welcome in French, Spanish and Mandarin. The lessons turned to other important phrases needed when using another language, such as “How are you?” and “What is this?” The latter is a helpful expression when travelling and wanting to learn a new word! Year 4 are confident communicators, expressing themselves in other languages and sharing their own, an important skill for such a diverse and international community.
