World Languages in Year 13

Year 13s are moving into the final stretch in their World Languages courses.

IB students have to undertake at least one language course to obtain their IB Diploma and our Year 13s are into the final stretch of their World Language courses. With a diverse array of languages to choose including Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, German, Spanish and French, as well as Thai, they are buckling down to achieve fluency for their IB exams. Studying another language opens up a new world for students, language is more than just the words you use but they learn it shapes your world view. As most of these students will move globally for study and work after Patana, learning another language allows them to view the world as true global citizens.
