Year 1 Teachers Get a Soaking!

Year 1 students are learning about materials. They made predictions about which material would be best for keeping our teachers dry. The teachers made umbrellas out of different materials and were confident their designs would work. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and as a result, their poor teachers were soaked! The children are keen to investigate which materials would be more suitable for waterproofing, durability and fit for purpose. This term the students will spend more time exploring materials, making predictions and testing their ideas based on their own interests. An exciting term ahead!
