Year 13s Welcomed to Alumni Programme

Year 13s learned about the alumni platform and were inspired by the alum speaker.

Year 13s attended the alumni breakfast to not only refuel for the day but to also learn more about the Alumni programme. Mr Mills welcomed them all and introduced the alumni speaker: Clement Pithon, Grad’11.

Clem started in FS2 so knows Bangkok Patana well. Clem, as he likes to be called, addressed the challenges he faced in the IB programme and what he did to overcome them. He also offered some sage advice:

“Have a broad idea of where you want to go in life, you don’t need to be very specific as plans can change. You need to be prepared to change your plans a bit, be able to adapt to things out of your control. However, make sure that you look ahead, think about what would make you happy, see yourself at the age of 50 and what you need to do to reach the milestones that make you happy.”

You can read all about Clem Pithon’s journey here.

The alumni platform is a great opportunity for former students to connect, network and join mentorship programmes. If you are an alum and have not yet signed up do so here.
