Year 6 Collaborate to Overcome Minecraft Challenges
Year 6s are working in teams to overcome challenges in Minecraft
Year 6 students are learning the importance of teamwork and collaboration as they navigate in Minecraft. The students read The Princess’ Blankets and are now using their knowledge to overcome challenges in that Minecraft world. Each story sees harder and harder challenges that they must overcome as a team. The final challenge? Create music to go with the story and the present it to the Princess to help her find her true love.
Working together in teams of three, the students are learning that the true challenge is collaborating closely to win points. Each team is made up of three members; the pro player, the editor who writes the text for the story, and the non-playing leader. Communication, collaboration and tech skills are all at play as they navigate the Minecraft world. Follow all their lessons here.
