Year 7 D+T Students Design Unique USB Drives

Year 7s are designing new USB drives.

Year 7 D+T students started a new project; designing USB drives. They are using the Design Cycle, with a focus on specifications and designing for manufacture. The USB drive is meant to represent the students themselves, their personalities, interests and likes. They students conduct research into the topics of their interests and then generate a mood board to help them start designing. Students receive information through Power Point presentations and discuss their designs with their teachers. Their personalities are sure to shine through when they complete their designs!
