Year 9 students used their ingenuity in PE class finding creative substitutes for kettlebells. From backpacks to dumbbells, they followed a flow of lifting; one routine every three minutes for 24 minutes. At the end of the exercise they took a well-deserved break and hydrated. Taking a break from screen time and getting in some physical activity is key to maintaining well-being. Year 9s know the importance of exercise and having fun together, even virtually!
