Year 9s Benefit from Experienced, Older Peers

Year 9s Benefit from Experienced, Older Peers

Year 9s met with and asked questions of subject leaders on the (I)GCSE.

Students in Years 11 and 12 shared their experiences in (I)GCSE subjects with Year 9 students, offering direction and guidance. Year 9 students were able to meet with representatives from each subject and hear first-hand about the type of work needed for the course, the level of understanding required and the commitment. The younger students benefit from the advice and experience that older students can offer, whilst the older students enjoyed the chance to share their insights. Sharing experiences across Year groups is an important part of the learning process; looking forward as well as looking back.
