A Night in the School for Year 2

The excitement had been building for a while and then there it was – the Year 2 sleepover! The children readied their classroom for the sleeping mats and enjoyed their snacks before a jam packed afternoon of fun.

Activities included ICT, parachute games, construction and listening to a story. This was followed by a scrumptious dinner which included jelly! The excitement continued with the children setting up their beds for the night before exploring the empty school by torch.  The children visited the Arts Centre, Theatre and Reflection Pool where they listened for nocturnal animals. The children even managed to see some bats. Finally, it was time for hot chocolate and a story before lights out. What an exciting and memorable night!
