Active Learning Through Interclass Sports

Sports events are an important aspect of learning and development…

Monday welcomes a week of Interclass and Interhouse sports for both Primary and Secondary students! The week kicked off with a tough tee ball competition between the Year 5 and Year 6 students, to be followed by Years 3 and 4 on Tuesday, Primary Sports Days, and Year 7 on Friday. These events are a great opportunity for students to develop understanding and empathy, as sport encourages teamwork and communication. These practical skills are further integrated into classroom learning, benefiting students’ knowledge retention and well-being. This is particularly important as sport, play, and active learning are a vital part of children’s development. Stay tuned to see how the rest of the week plays out!
