Artistic Observation in Year 10

Artistic observation provides a fresh perspective for Fine Arts students…

Year 10 (I)GCSE Fine Art students are developing their artistic observation skills by spending some time outside of the classroom and in the natural environment of our campus. Students practiced using their “artistic eyes” to discover a fresh perspective of the natural beauty all around them. As masks are now optional outdoors, students enjoyed the fresh air with big smiles, a welcome sight for our Fine Art teachers! Artistic observation is a way of seeing and understanding other points of view, helping students to further develop their creativity and ability to represent various experiences through multiple media.
