Broadening Horizons in Year 12 IB Art

Year 12 Art students are exploring techniques and media of different artists.

Year 12 IB Art students are broadening their artistic horizons by exploring the works of other artists. Visits to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and studying the artists’ works there were inspiration for some students. Other students virtually visited the works of artists around the globe, studying style, techniques, media and more. Pushing outside the boundaries gives students the chance to expand, exploring media and techniques that they might not normally use. Exposure to other styles gives students the freedom to step outside their own approach and eventually develop a style all their own.
