Bronze DofE participants honed their cooking skills for their expedition.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Bronze participants headed to the kitchen to get cooking. One hundred and six students from Year 10 joined Mr Clarke, Mr Tennant and Ms Steciuk online and fired up their stoves.
Their goal was to cook a delicious meal with ingredients appropriate to take on their expedition. The selection of dishes ranged from sandwiches to Indian and Thai dishes, pasta and much more. Their cooking skills are going to be put to the test when they go on expedition, and some students took the challenge and cooked outdoors at home.
It has been amazing to have so many Bronze participants in the online ECA each Wednesday and a special mention goes to those Year 10’s brave enough to cook live on MS Teams with Mr Tennant, Ms Steciuk and Mr Clarke!
