Senior Leadership Update – 23rd September 2021

Dear Parents, 

Yesterday we had a very encouraging visit from three different government agencies in our preparations to open the school campus. We don’t have a concrete date to share with you, but we are extremely close to a safe, staggered and controlled return. 

As soon as a return to school date is set, there will be at least a two-day notice for parents to complete necessary actions before their child(ren) enter(s) campus. Parents will receive an SMS and/or notice by email. Please check your contact details through the Parents’ Gateway (through the Family Information icon) to ensure that we have your correct contact details.

1. Before any student starts their first day on campus, parents must procure and administer an ATK test for their children. These ATK test kits are easily available from your local pharmacy or you can order them from the PTG online store.
2. Particularly for Year 13 parents, please ensure you have an ATK kit ready to test your child.
3. If you still haven’t done so, please complete the Health and Travel Declaration form HERE. This form is a mandatory prerequisite for school campus re-entry.

We continue to work with multiple hospitals for the procurement of vaccines for children aged 12 to 18. When the first dose is available, notifications will go directly to the contact information parents listed in the registration form. 

On a positive note, the Spears School’s Index is one of the few places that rate schools without first requiring advertising or membership. Spears is a wealth management and luxury lifestyle media organisation. Recently they published a list of the best private schools in the world, and Bangkok Patana School is the only school listed for Thailand!
