Busking Day Returns to Primary!

Primary Busking Day raises funds for community development projects

Busking Day was back in full force today as students from Key Stage 2 displayed their talents to raise money for the Primary Central Fund. It was great to be able to welcome back this special Primary event after a three year break, with only a few modifications to make it socially distanced and safe for all. The children from Foundation Stage were treated to a pre-performance by some of the best of Key Stage 2’s talent, followed by the main event in which all students performed. The Busking Day event takes skill, practice and a bit of organisation to perfect these performances – all of which the students can be very proud of!

The money raised from this event will be used for long-term sponsorship projects and to help with community emergency relief in times of disaster. Busking Day concludes of wonderful year of charity awareness and fundraising across the Primary School. Looking forward, we are excited to start planning for more social events next academic year.
