Celebrating the Platinum Jubilee

Celebrating the Platinum Jubilee

A weekend of Royal celebrations!

The Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, marking her 70-year milestone, was celebrated throughout the Primary and Secondary Schools today. Students were encouraged to dress in red, white and blue and were provided with treats of scones and butter cake at break time. The “Royal Guards” and “State Coach” decorated the corridors, with a fantastic British playlist enjoyed by all. Some Bangkok Patana students are also taking part in an International Jubilee Choir to record an arrangement of the song A Life Filled with Grace, which will be featured as part of a global celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

As the original British school in Thailand, we are thrilled to be celebrating both HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, as well as the birthday of HM Queen Suthida, on the same weekend! Enjoy your long weekend ahead.
