Collaboration in Year 12 Physics

Year 12 Physics students are collaborative and confident communicators.

Year 12 Physics students are studying SUVAT questions for constant acceleration through different sources. SUVAT equations involve displacement (S), initial velocity (U), final velocity (V), acceleration (A) and time (T) for motion in a straight line with constant acceleration.

Collaboration is key for both teachers and students. Two teachers teamed up in the lesson, while students worked on practice questions on Onenote and Kahoot. Together, they unpicked the more challenging Kahoot questions using MS Whiteboard. Students worked to come up with the correct solution to questions such as “If a plant pot falls from five metres, at what speed will it hit the ground?” (Hint: the answer is in the photos!)
