Corrie Wales, Science Faculty

Welcome Corrie Wales, Secondary Science and Biology Teacher

Corrie is a returning teacher, as she taught at Bangkok Patana around 10 years ago and mentioned that a lot has changed in that time! As a Biology teacher, Corrie loves seeing her students enjoy the subject, as well as their enthusiasm and engagement.

Corrie Wales was born in Qatar, where she lived until she was 8 years old, then in the UK until she was 13 years old, then finished her schooling in Singapore. She completed university in the UK and started teaching in London. Coming from a family of teachers and having been an international school student herself, Corrie then began teaching abroad, first in Bahrain, then Thailand, Qatar, Singapore and now returning to Thailand once more.

Throughout her first year back on campus, Corrie is looking forward to becoming more involved with The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, as well as joining her first Residential trips! Unfortunately when Corrie was teaching at Bangkok Patana in 2011, the Residential trips had been cancelled due to flooding. Corrie enjoys the outdoors and loves hiking, cooking, paddle-boarding, swimming and traveling. She is looking forward to making many new memories around Thailand, as this time she is joined by her husband and is excited for the new perspective that will bring to her experiences.
