Fashionistas and Designers in Year 10
Year 10 students enjoy creating fashion and art in their DIY Fashion Elective.
Students in the Year 10 DIY Fashion Elective are getting hands-on! Those who have chosen to create garments are cutting pattern pieces that they will begin to adapt to their own style choices and desired fit. Some have taken on the challenge of producing a screenprint for their garment and are developing a series of stencils to produce a multi-coloured design to wear.
Others have opted to create their own large-scale textile wall art, so they have been researching a wide range of fabric embellishment techniques and creating detailed plans, ready for commencing dye tests next week.
This group of budding designers have really risen to the challenge of trying a completely new skill and have produced some inspiring designs… look out Vogue, here comes Bangkok Patana!
