Mini-Tennis Players Practice Skills

Mini-tennis players are motivated and engaged practicing at home.

Mini-tennis is still real tennis as our Primary players know well! Some may think that because the balls are slower and a different colour, or the courts are a bit smaller, that they aren’t “real tennis”. However, they are all part of the progression in tennis. It is important that children are given the opportunity to play an adult version of the game in an environment that suits them. Slower balls, smaller courts and shorter, lighter rackets allow children to hit the same tempo as the pros, move around the court in the same way and execute the same tactics. Each child develops at a different rate, based on skills. Our young tennis players have been working on their skills at home as the tennis coaches share best practices videos and work with them on their techniques.
