Old School Sports Day
School spirit, but make it neon…
Senior Studies students enjoyed a blast to the past in the form of an 80s-inspired “old school” sports day. Leg warmers? Check. Neon pink headbands? Check. Students demonstrated their school spirit in an active, energy-filled event, complete with our own student DJs!
The morning began with individual events, ranging from three-legged races, sack races and ‘chopstick-and-bauble’ races. Students then participated in a collaborative dodgeball event, ending in a 9-9 point tie. A tense tiebreaker game of tug-of-war brought together the strongest of both Year groups, and finally, Year 12 emerged victorious. The Student Delegates had great fun organising the event and can’t wait to see who claims the title next year!
