The Hunt for 2D and 3D Shapes
Year 2 students found all sorts of 2D and 3D shapes around the house.
In learning about shapes, Year 2 students hunted around their homes for 2D and 3D shapes. Using their creative skills they found and named articles such as pyramid, cone, cube, sphere and more. The children also created their own shapes out of household items. Then, they tallied their finds and shared them with their teachers on Padlet. Our Year 2s have been honing their inquisitive and creative skills at home!
