“I am hoping to attend the University of California, San Diego, for Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in renewable energy. I chose UC San Diego because of the location, climate, and flexibility in changing courses. UC San Diego also offers a variety of engineering majors that I am interested in exploring.”
“I chose to apply to these particular schools based on the course and engineering opportunities (mainly internship and research opportunities). I applied to Materials Science and Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Engineering with Architectural Design during the application process, which narrowed me down to quite a few options.”

The idea of applying my knowledge to problem-solving and generating creative solutions is what drew me to Engineering. This field suits my interest the most at the moment as it is a mix of my favourite subjects (Maths and Science).”
