Wearing Pink for the Cure

Wearing Pink for the Cure

Pink was the colour of the day to raise awareness of breast cancer.

Students across Secondary School wore pink for Pink Day, raising awareness of breast cancer. Teachers and staff also got into Pink Day spirit. Members of the CanCure club, the PTG and SILC held a bake sale with all funds raised going towards the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer to help women in need receive check-ups and education on breast cancer. Students also had the wonderful opportunity to attend a virtual meeting with Dr Kris Chatamra, the founder of the Centre. Dr Shinawatt Visutdiphat, a critical care surgeon from Samitivej Hospital, met with Year 12 and 13 students where they learned more about breast cancer and its treatment.
