What’s Next for the Pirate in Year 2?
Year 2 make predictions on what will happen next in The Night Pirates
Pirates are on the attack in Year 2! Using their Connected Learning theme of Pirates, students have been improving their reading and storytelling skills. For instance, Guided Reading is used to help children become independent, strategic readers and the children were challenged to make predictions on what would happen next in the story The Night Pirates. They provided their answers through drawing pictures or writing. Using the classroom app SeeSaw, the children have been easily able to share their stories with teachers and the class. Their creativity and resourcefulness show their passion for pirates. Aargh!!
