Year 12 Interhouse Softball

Year 12 Interhouse Softball

Balancing Senior Studies academics with well-being

After a busy few weeks in Year 12, students were excited to put on their House shirts and play some interhouse softball at the Sports Complex. The cool, dry morning boded well for some great action in these fun and competitive games.

In the Boys’ competition, House favourites Phuket dropped one too many catches, while underdogs Samui, driven on by some fierce batting by Austin and Peam, fought their way to second place. Overall champions were Lanta, with Kayne and Toki smashing it out of the park.

Meanwhile, the Girls’ competition also saw some inspired batting and some acrobatic catches. Chang ended up in fourth place, followed by Phuket and Lanta in third and second place, respectively. Some big-hitting by Margot, Pearie and Nora in particular meant that Samui were crowned the Girls’ champions, rounding off a great morning for House Samui!
