Year 4 Residentials – On Campus!

Year 4 Residentials – On Campus!

In a time of adaptation, Year 4 brings their Residential to campus and celebrates with a disco!

After the initial disappointment of being unable to go on their Residential Visits due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, Year 4 teachers decided to bring the Residential to Bangkok Patana. Through careful planning, they brought key aspects of the Hua Hin experience to Bangkok with activities focused on collaboration, teamwork, problem solving and perseverance. Year 4 teachers made sure it was as fun as possible by utilising many of the fantastic facilities that Bangkok Patana has to offer.

During this week, Year 4 students took a break from their usual timetables and were immersed in a plethora of activities. They enjoyed free time in the 25m Pool, explored the Secondary Youth Centre, relaxed in the Well-Being Room, tinkered in the Computer Suites and cooked in the kitchens. Planned and resourced activities in the classrooms, and on the Adventure Playground, encouraged students to interact and collaborate to problem solve a host of active challenges.

Just like in Hua Hin, Year 4 students were also given the opportunity to express their individuality and talents in a talent show hosted on the big stage in the Rosamund Stuetzel Theatre. Students then ended this fantastic week with a disco! This year’s “on-campus residential” was thoroughly enjoyed by all students and staff.
