A deep dive into Thai culture


Year 9 Thai Language students visited Museum Siam, providing them with an engaging and interactive experience through which they learned more about Thailand’s cultural background. Students appreciated the large collection of modern displays that included detailed information about the history of Thailand, from ancient cities to the 21st century. Museum Siam doesn’t only focus on history, though. It also explores contemporary Thai culture, with exhibits that showcase Thai art, music and food. Students were even able to try their hand at traditional Thai crafts! Year 9 Thai Language students expressed that this is a great destination for history buffs, art lovers or anyone looking for something interesting and unique to do in Bangkok. They further complimented the engaging exhibits, knowledgeable staff and fun atmosphere. A visit to Museum Siam is a great way for students to practice their Thai language skills, within the context of Thai culture and history.
